Classes for adolescent and older dogs.

New course begins January 2012

These classes run on Sunday evenings at 7:45-8:45 in The Old Mill Hall, School Lane in Grove. They run in blocks of 6 weeks and booking is essential. It is important to understand that these classes are for sociable dogs that are happy to be around people and other dogs so they can be taught some basics and good manners. Dogs that bark continually, dogs that are not good with other dogs, shy or uncomfortable around people then these classes are not suitable. You and your dog will be too stressed to learn and need specialised help overcoming the problem.  General classes are not suitable for this. A 1:1 consultation would be more appropriate so help, coaching and advise can be tailored to your needs or if your dog is suitable it can also attend a class for unsociable dogs to help them become more relaxed around other dogs. They are available here.

Booking essential. All techniques will be reward based so fun and easy for you and the dog.

Course will cover

Teaching your dog to greet without jumping up.

Teaching your dog to walk on lead without pulling.

Teaching your dog to come back when called.

Teaching your dog to lay down, sit and the stay command.

Teaching your dog a retrieve and drop command.

Teaching some fun tricks and suitable games to play with your dog.
